Terms of sale

These terms apply to purchases on arbolume.com from Arbolume LLC, 847 Overlook Circle, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (“Arbolume”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Products and prices

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before you pay. We offer free standard shipping on every kit to addresses in the contiguous United States.

Product photos are for illustration. Actual light color and brightness may look slightly different depending on the tree, its surroundings and your screen.

2. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a shipping confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if a price or description was listed in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we’ll refund any payment in full.

3. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout using the methods shown. Nothing is added to your order unless you choose it, including optional add-ons such as shipping protection.

4. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the addresses accepted at checkout. Delivery dates shown on the product page and at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave us. If your package arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date and we’ll make it right.

5. 30-day trial and returns

You may return your Arbolume Ring within 30 days of delivery for any reason. Email support@arbolume.com with your order number for return instructions. Please return it complete, with all segments, connector leads, the power supply and the setup card. Normal use during the trial is fine. We refund the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return. RETURN SHIPPING: We provide a prepaid return label. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

6. Wrong size

If the ring doesn’t fit your trunk, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll exchange it for another size, subject to availability, or refund you.

7. Limited warranty

We warrant that the Arbolume Ring will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from delivery when used as directed. If a segment, connector or included power supply fails during this period, email support@arbolume.com with your order number and a photo or short video. We’ll repair or replace the faulty part or, if that isn’t possible, refund you.

This warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by cutting or modifying cables, misuse, accidents, connections left in standing water, power equipment or batteries we didn’t supply, or normal wear. Some states don’t allow limits on implied warranties, so some of these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

8. Safe use

Follow the setup card and all safety instructions supplied with the product. Use only the included power supply or a compatible battery pack, keep power and connections off the ground, and don’t use damaged cables.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Questions and disputes

Please contact us first at support@arbolume.com. We aim to reply within one business day, and most issues are resolved quickly this way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away protections you have under the consumer protection laws of your state of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order.
